The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, VNRVJIET, successfully organized a 2-Day International Conference "International Conference on Advances in Computer Engineering and Communication Systems (ICACECS)" (ICACECS 2020, ICACECS 2021, ICACECS 2022, ICACECS 2023, ICACECS 2024 and ICACECS 2025) consecutively for 6 years. This conference is conducted in association with "Springer Nature International" the publication partner and technically sponsored by Computer Society of India (CSI). Every year, there is an overwhelming response from researchers around the globe publishing their research contributions. Continuing this legacy, the 7th International Conference ICACECS 2026 is now scheduled to be conducted on 6th and 7th August 2026 in online with the themes "Smart Innovations in Mezzanine Technologies, Data Analytics, Knowledge Engineering Networks, and Communication Systems" and "Intelligent Systems through Human-Centric Technologies and Data Driven Insights" which is the theme of the conference. The 7th International Conference ICACECS 2026 is now scheduled to be conducted on 6th and 7th August 2026 in collaboration with University of North Texas, College of Information, USA and Presidency University, Bengaluru, India.

Our Department - CSE

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), established in the year 1995, evolved towards enhancing Computing and its applications to build the intellectual capital of the society. The department is witnessing a period of exciting growth and opportunity propelled by the growth of technology and its recognition through excellence.

CSE department offers 2 UnderGraduate (UG) courses:-

Computer Science and Engineering
Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) in collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services ( TCS ).

and offers two PG Courses in

Software Engineering (SE)
Computer Science Engineering (CSE)

CSE department provides state-of-art laboratories equipped with the latest infrastructure. Committed and competent faculty keep abreast of the upcoming technologies, through continuous participation in seminars and workshops, registering for the advanced courses through MOOCs and acquiring merit certifications.

The Computer Science students get placed every year in national and multinational companies with a very good average pay package. The inter/intra collegiate competitions conducted by the department, provide a platform for enhancing knowledge base, soft skills and team spirit.

The CSE department is involved in pioneering research with Global excellence and local relevance in cutting-edge technologies like Image Processing, Augmented Reality, Data Analytics, Internet of Things, Mezzanine Technologies, Networks and has several publications to its creditlisted in SCOPUS, Web of Science, SCI indexed, etc.

Call For Papers

7th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ADVANCES IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS (ICACECS-2026) invites original work in the broad areas of Computer Engineering and Communication Systems. The major themes are identified (but not limited to) and listed below under the Conference Tracks.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Authors should submit their papers only through the Microsoft CMT Conference link. Create/sign up for a Microsoft CMT account and upload your paper.
The papers which are not in the prescribed format will be subjected to rejection without any judgment on its quality.
All the final camera ready papers must be submitted in the latex format only
Plagiarism report of the content exceeding the acceptable range will not be permitted for presentation.
All papers that conform to submission guidelines will be peer-reviewed and evaluated based on originality, innovation, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability.
At least one author of an accepted paper should register for their paper to be presented/published. The co-authors can pay the participant amount to attend the conference/workshop(s).
If an author has got more than one accepted paper, each paper has to be registered separately.
The conference proceedings will be shared in SOFT COPY to the Registered Author ONLY.
The registration doesnot cover accommodation, transportation, etc.
